Bill and Jennifer got the honor of attending and helping with a wedding at Faith Temple in Wauchula Fl. George and Sherri Konstantakis were married on Christmas eve morning 2009. Bill sang "Without You" and Jennifer did the photography. What a blessing to be a blessing!

CHRISTMAS DINNER AT THE CAMP WITH OUR DEAR FRIENDS IN THE LORD/ORVIN AND BARBIE BROWN
PASTOR ED JENKINS
A Great Christmas Present!

What better way to celebrate the birth of Christ than to be baptized on His birthday. Halleluia!

Christmas Eve

Peace River Chapel, Wauchula Fl.

Campers filled the little chapel until there was no more room. Not unlike the Inn, where there was no room for Mary and Joseph.

We celebrated the birth of our savior Jesus Christ with reverence and beautiful hymns.
Each one received the light of Christ to illuminate their life. Pastor Ed and Janie Jenkins created a beautiful Christ centered service. We are all so grateful to them.

Mercy Seat had the privilege of leading worship at Faith Temple Church of God
on Dec. 23rd 2009. It was an honor to minister under the authority of Pastor Wendell Smith. He is a true servant leader, led by the spirit in all he does.

This service was the first of every service being broadcasted live on the internet. We got to be a part of it! You can view that service by clicking the link below and looking for us or the date.

Faith Temple is a small church with big ministries. Their food pantry feeds 500 people a month! We look forward to partnering with Pastor Smith again in the future. We have found another "church away from home".

On Dec. 24 we even got to participate in a wedding there. Bill was asked to sing "Without You" and Jennifer was the wedding photographer. It seems our duties as Chaplains knows no bounds.

Sorry for the lag in posts. Mercy Seat has been in the studio all summer and fall working on our new CD. "More Of You". It is finally finished thanks to everyones hard work who contributed. A special thanks to Infinite Creative Concepts Studio and the expertise of Michael Barberich. A very special song "Linger A While" is dedicated to the memory of our dear friend Jim Campbell. He is the superman logo on this page!

We were officially ordained at Evangel Church Of God and sent out as Chaplains.

We had a great trip down south starting with an extended stay in Westminster South Carolina. We were able to participate with Westminster Church Of God in feeding hungry families the week of Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving at Jennifer's brother's was great. Not enough time with family though.

Next we were off to Woodbine Church Of God in Georgia to sing for a Sunday morning service then off to revival service that night and the following night at Lighthouse Church Of God. We met some wonderful believers. We are looking forward to going back in the spring.

Orlando at last. We have two shows here at Orlando Thousand Trails coming up Jan 31 and March 28(Palm Sunday). What a great night for a gospel show!

Waiting to see what God has for us next!

Hershey Pa. Blessed again. Our friends Tom and Carol Muckle are here with us. Pastor Ed and Janie Jenkins are camping nearby. We all have the opportunity to put on a concert at the Outdoor World Pa Dutch Country campground on Saturday. We look forward to praising the Lord together. We may be an odd bunch but the bible says He uses the foolish. I guess that's us!

Our staying on in South Carolina started with a visit to Cross pointe Church of God in Anderson SC. We met Bishop Scott King and received a great teaching. We felt welcome and loved right away. The church announced that Bishop King would be preaching a revival at a nearby church. We attended Cross Pointe COG several more times before the revival. We loved the worship, teachings and mostly the people. God has truly blessed us by hand picking people to be in our lives on the road! The Sunday morning following the end of revival Smitty got to play his electric guitar with David Ramey on the Cross Pointe worship team. He had a terrific time playing with the team and David. The worship was great! We had the privilege of hearing Pastor Soi from Kenya preach that day. What a great man of God. We even had the opportunity to go out to lunch with everyone after service. Thank you God for all you are doing in, around and through us!

For the Lord our God is our light and protector.  He gives us grace and glory.  No good thing will the Lord withhold from those who do what is right.  O Lord Almighty, happy are those who trust in you. Psalm 84:11-12 NLT

The picture is Pastor Jerry, his wife Lynn and their daughter Elizabeth at Westminster Church Of God

This entry is a letter to Pastor Mullins at our home church in New York, Evangel Church of God. Pastor Mullins is our church covering when we are on the road and we like to keep him updated on what God is doing with our travels.Hi Pastor,

We are so blessed we can't hardly stand it! We attended Crosspointe COG in Anderson SC a few weeks ago. The teaching was great. We found out Bishop Scott King would be preaching revival services at a nearby COG. We both knew somehow we had to be there. The revival started last Sunday night. By the middle of the service we each got word,  separately from God, that we had to stay for the rest of the week. The problem was that our reservations would be finished by Tue. We had to vacate our campground. At the end of the evening we discussed the directions we had received. We asked Senior Pastor, Bishop Jerry Lewis if we could pull our rig into the parking lot. He immediately welcomed and accommodated us. Tue. afternoon we pulled in to the church lot, got hooked up to electric and the 24hr use of a building with two bathrooms and a huge kitchen. We even got to set up our P.A. and practice our worship. It's nice to know that when God asks you do do something He always provides a way for you to do it. We stayed in the Westminster COG lot for 7 days. Pastor Jerry and all the congregants there made us feel like family.

We received correction, conviction, encouragement and renewal this past week.  The teachings from Pastor King were life altering. We witnessed God move in mighty ways. Young people gave their lives to Christ. Others received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. We worshipped! We got the opportunity to do our original, Dancin for the King and Smitty played most of the week with the worship team. We got closer to God and gained a new family. We will return there again and again. We even got invited to a Memorial day barbecue.

Sunday morning we attended Anderson COG because pastor Scott really wanted Smitty to come and play on the team. It was a privilege to hear Pastor Soi from Kenya preach. As in revival services people were slain all over the altar area. Pastor Soi spoke things over us he didn't know. It was an awesome time with God. Crosspointe COG has been streaming live on the internet on "ustream". Pastor Scott and Pastor Jerry co-hosted "niteline" on a local TBN station on Tue. evening. We were invited to be in the studio audience but didn't want to overstay our welcome in Westminster.

We had one chance to hear Pastor Jerry preach on Sunday evening after revival was over. It left us wanting more. There were tears all around and Pastor Jerry got quite a few phone calls asking bout us the morning we were leaving. The hardest thing about being on the road is leaving our church family behind but God is filling our hearts with family on the road who love the Lord and love us. What more could we ask for. We are blessed!  We miss you& look forward to seeing you for a few weeks in a row!

  • This is Pastor Jerry Lewis at the Westminster Church of God in South Carolina. It seems that God is still faithful to answer prayer because we ask Him to be in charge of our trip. We attended a revival service on Sunday evening and we both knew we wouldn't be leaving the area on Tues. as planned. Pastor Lewis has graciously allowed us to park the motorhome in the church parking lot and given us favor with the use of electricity and a building with bathrooms and a kitchen where we have set up our sound system to do worship. God has been moving EVERY night! We have found a wonderful new family at TWO churches here in South Carolina. Stay tuned for the story of Anderson Church of God under Pastor Scott King. God is sooooo good!!!
