This entry is a letter to Pastor Mullins at our home church in New York, Evangel Church of God. Pastor Mullins is our church covering when we are on the road and we like to keep him updated on what God is doing with our travels.Hi Pastor,

We are so blessed we can't hardly stand it! We attended Crosspointe COG in Anderson SC a few weeks ago. The teaching was great. We found out Bishop Scott King would be preaching revival services at a nearby COG. We both knew somehow we had to be there. The revival started last Sunday night. By the middle of the service we each got word,  separately from God, that we had to stay for the rest of the week. The problem was that our reservations would be finished by Tue. We had to vacate our campground. At the end of the evening we discussed the directions we had received. We asked Senior Pastor, Bishop Jerry Lewis if we could pull our rig into the parking lot. He immediately welcomed and accommodated us. Tue. afternoon we pulled in to the church lot, got hooked up to electric and the 24hr use of a building with two bathrooms and a huge kitchen. We even got to set up our P.A. and practice our worship. It's nice to know that when God asks you do do something He always provides a way for you to do it. We stayed in the Westminster COG lot for 7 days. Pastor Jerry and all the congregants there made us feel like family.

We received correction, conviction, encouragement and renewal this past week.  The teachings from Pastor King were life altering. We witnessed God move in mighty ways. Young people gave their lives to Christ. Others received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. We worshipped! We got the opportunity to do our original, Dancin for the King and Smitty played most of the week with the worship team. We got closer to God and gained a new family. We will return there again and again. We even got invited to a Memorial day barbecue.

Sunday morning we attended Anderson COG because pastor Scott really wanted Smitty to come and play on the team. It was a privilege to hear Pastor Soi from Kenya preach. As in revival services people were slain all over the altar area. Pastor Soi spoke things over us he didn't know. It was an awesome time with God. Crosspointe COG has been streaming live on the internet on "ustream". Pastor Scott and Pastor Jerry co-hosted "niteline" on a local TBN station on Tue. evening. We were invited to be in the studio audience but didn't want to overstay our welcome in Westminster.

We had one chance to hear Pastor Jerry preach on Sunday evening after revival was over. It left us wanting more. There were tears all around and Pastor Jerry got quite a few phone calls asking bout us the morning we were leaving. The hardest thing about being on the road is leaving our church family behind but God is filling our hearts with family on the road who love the Lord and love us. What more could we ask for. We are blessed!  We miss you& look forward to seeing you for a few weeks in a row!

In His service, Bill and Jennifer Smith
